Was so hungry- we didn't get a chance to take a photo at the beginning. Staff was attentive and great. Food was delicious. Had the beef & cilantro soup and curry potato soup with tons of veggies and meats. Great variety.
The food was so tasty and it's a great price for all you can eat hot pot with lots of meat and vegetable variety. Service was great and the seating area has nice privacy for a date. Delicious!!
Hotto Potto is an absolute treat if you're looking for delicious hot pot locally. The location doesn't have a ton of ambience (very simple sit down place), but in my experience, the food has always made up for it. There is plenty of seating and the longest I've had to wait to be seated was 10 minutes tops. They also have larger tables available for bigger parties; I typically come with a small group but it's nice to know that's an option! The waiters are always very pleasant and sociable, and they always deliver the hot pot add ins with accuracy. There are a ton of options to add to your hot pot, and I've never had an issue with food quality. It always looks and tastes great! I really like the dumplings, the shrimp, and all of the veggie options. I also like that they provide you with a sauce bar at your table, which enables you to put together your own sauces, and make some new ones for dipping. I am a huge spice and sauce gal, so that's an added bonus in my book! I gave this restaurant a four out of five because one thing I have noticed consistently is that it takes quite a bit of time between orders, anywhere between 10-20 mins, which can make it a longer lunch/dinner experience. If you're not in a rush, it's no big deal, but it's something to keep in mind. I'd definitely recommend for a casual gathering with friends or a date night with your loved one!
This was a fun experience. I visited hotto potto for my sister's birthday. We used one of their back rooms designated for large parties. You choose your broth and then what ingredients you want to add to it. All ingredients come uncooked, so it is helpful to follow the cooking instructions posted at each table for cook times. I chose the creamy onion broth which was sooo delicious. I chose a variety of meats and vegetables and added my noodles at the end. You share a split pot with the person next to your so in the photo you'll see my soup and my sister's. We were able to share ingredients which made it a little cheaper to try many different things. Know that when you come here, it's an experience. You're forced to slow down and wait while things cook before you eat. If you're looking for a quick bite, this isn't it. But if you are wanting to take your time, spend time with someone you love or maybe get to know someone new, this is a great spot for that. Food tasted great, service was good and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my friends at a slower pace than usual.
We randomly ended up at this place on a Friday night, and I was so happy we did! Thanks yelp Let's start with the star of the show - the hot pot! I was impressed by the selection of broth options, ranging from classic flavors like chicken and beef to more adventurous choices like spicy lemongrass and mushroom. Each broth is simmered to perfection, resulting in a rich and flavorful base for my hot pot adventure. The hot pot ingredients were so fresh and abundant, offering a wide assortment of meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles. I loved the tender slices of beef, plump shrimp, and the array of fresh greens that allowed me to customize my hot pot to suit my taste buds perfectly. It was delightful to watch the thinly sliced meats cook quickly in the bubbling broth, and the staff was always on hand to help me with any cooking questions I had. My only comment was in regards to the dim sum... they were not my favorite!
The grandson wanted to go here so we visited. Grandkids usually get whatever they want. I love his adventurous taste, and he ordered the all you can eat. He specifically wanted the Wagyu beef. We were there at lunch and they were only maybe six tables busy. But it is Wednesday. My husband doesn't really like hot pot because he thinks there are too many options! This is why I love it. I had the potato curry broth with some veggies, dumplings and noodles. My grandson and I kept saying, in unison, " Mmmm Mmmmmm, this is delicious.!" If I was just speaking only from my perspective, or that of my grandsons, I would probably have given it a five star. But my husband's reaction to it helped me to understand that it's not everyone's sort of restaurant. He was happy and he ate it all, but he does not enjoy this type of interactive meal. I told the grandson, he could be my dinner date from now on.
Fun! Wonderful server! This was a first for me, but my granddaughter was fairly familiar. Our server was especially helpful. Had we paid attention, we likely wouldnt have ordered as much, but was loads of fun AND food! We each decided on a broth/soup base then ordered 2 dinners: one mushroom and the other a more pork n beef selection. We intended to just get bubble tea and a 'snack', but were happy we ordered dinner. Such fun, delish, and absolutely FILLING! Lots of take home, simply because of generous servings AND difficult decisions. ( avocado broth is excellent!)
